Jaguar's business was founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company in 1922, originally making motorcycle sidecars before developing bodies for passenger cars. Under the ownership of S. S. Cars Limited, the business extended to complete cars made in association with Standard Motor Co, many bearing Jaguar as a model name.

Jaguar launched fragrance Jaguar for Men in 1988, which was characterized as green-aromatic with leather accords and cold spices. Till today Jaguar for Men has remained a classic of this house, with millions of bottles sold worldwide. Its successor arrives on the market in 2014 under the name Jaguar For Men Evolution, designed to depict sophisticated style and urban gentlemen. The new perfume is embodiment of men's maturity with dark blue body of the bottle symbolizing timeless elegance. By modernizing the old edition exciting design was achieved which combines tradition and contemporary ways.
The new perfume Jaguar for Men Evolution arrives in the same flacon form as the classic edition Jaguar for Men. Glass of the bottle is colored in dark blue, while the stopper is metallic silver, as well as letters on the bottle. The composition provides a contemporary aromatic-fougere blend signed by perfumer Dominique Preyssas, CPL Aromas, Paris. Bergamot, mint, orange and basil open the composition and with the fresh, aromatic start announce a blend of clary sage, cardamom, apple and lavender in the heart. Base notes cuddle and warm us subtly with amber, sandalwood and musk. Top notes are Mint, Bergamot, Orange and Basil; middle notes are Clary Sage, Lavender, Cardamom and Apple; base notes are Sandalwood, Musk and Amber.
